Romla Noor Hakim, S.T., M.T., is a senior geomechanics specialist and expert team member at PT.. Geo Labora Indonesia, with professional expertise in mine geomechanics. He has extensive experience in ock mechanical characterization, slope and excavation stability analysis, blast and excavation design, as well as geotechnical support planning and monitoring to ensure safe and efficient mining operations.

He earned his Master’s degree in Mining Engineering (Geomechanics) from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Mineral Indonesia (STTMI) and his Diploma in Mining Engineering from Akademi Teknik Pembangunan Nasional (ATPN).

In addition, he serves as a member of the Education and Research Division of the Forum Komunikasi Prodi Teknik Pertambangan se- Indonesia (FKPTPI), where he contributes to academic coordination and development among mining engineering programs across Indonesia.With his expertise in mining geomechanics and active involvement in FKPTPI, he plays a key role in fostering professional collaboration and advancing safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible mining practices.
