Dr. Hafidz Noor Fikri is a senior expert at PT Geo Labora Indonesia, specializing in mineralogy, petrography, hydrocarbon geochemistry, petroleum systems, and earth resources modeling and geostatistics. With over a decade of research and industry experience, he has contributed extensively to mineral deposit evaluation, mining exploration processes, and sustainable resource development.

He earned his Doctorate in Mining Science from Montanuniversität Leoben (MUL), Austria, following a Master’s degree in Mining Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and a Bachelor’s degree from Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM). His academic excellence is reflected in numerous publications featured in leading journals, including the International Journal of Coal Geology and the Austrian Journal of Earth Sciences.

Dr. Fikri’s research achievements include winning First Place in the Spackman Award – Graduate Student Research Grants (2023) during his Ph.D. His work bridges scientific innovation and practical application, advancing sustainable mining practices and strengthening the integration of geoscience and technology in the resource sector.
