Dr. Sari Melati, S.T., M.T. is a senior expert at PT. Geo Labora Indonesia, specializing in mining engineering, rock mechanics, mine planning and design. With over a decade of research and industry experience, she has contributed extensively to rock mass monitoring and mine operation.

She is a professional member of the International Society for RockMechanics (ISRM), the Indonesian Rock Mechanics Society, and theIndonesian Mining Professional Association (PERHAPI). Dr. Melatiearned her Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Mining Engineering fromthe Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and her Bachelor’s degreefrom Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM). Her academicexcellence is reflected in numerous publications featured in leadingjournals, including the Mining of Mineral Deposits.

Through her strong combination of academic excellence, innovative geomechanics research, and contributions to advancing mining competency at both national and international levels, she plays a significant role in promoting safety, mine design optimization, and enhancing Indonesia’s mining competitiveness in the era of sustainable energy transition.
