The team of experts of PT Geo Labora Indonesia has carried out previous work on the Geoelectrical Exploration Survey for PT Silika Perkasa Indonesia in Payung Mulya Village, Pubian District, Central Lampung Regency. The project was initiated to scientifically and accurately assess subsurface conditions and identify potential silica-bearing deposits, serving as a critical foundation for sustainable mining planning and resource development. This assignment reinforces team expert PT Geo Labora Indonesia’s commitment to delivering advanced geophysical exploration services that support the mineral industry with reliable and technology-based subsurface investigation results.

The scope of work consisted of a geoelectrical resistivity survey designed to map the distribution of subsurface electrical resistivity within the exploration area. Field activities included survey line planning, electrode installation, acquisition of current–voltage measurements, and recording of rock electrical parameters across multiple sounding points and profiling transects. The acquired data were subsequently processed, corrected for environmental and instrumental noise, and modeled into two-dimensional and three-dimensional resistivity cross-sections to visualize geological structures beneath the surface.

Interpretation of the geoelectrical data was performed to identify stratigraphic layering, depth and thickness of prospective zones, lithological contacts, alteration zones, and indications of the existence and continuity of silica deposits. The interpretation also incorporated regional geological information, surface geology observations, topographic conditions, and correlation between resistivity signatures and field geological features. Based on the results of this integrated interpretation, PT Geo Labora Indonesia expert team delineated priority target zones and established drilling recommendations to optimize follow-up exploration programs.

As part of the final technical reporting, PT Geo Labora Indonesia expert team provided geoelectrical interpretation maps, resistivity cross-sections, exploration target zonation, and technical recommendations for confirmation drilling (core drilling), sampling, and laboratory testing. These recommendations were formulated to ensure that subsequent exploration phases are executed effectively, efficiently, and with reduced uncertainty.

Through this project, team expert PT Geo Labora Indonesia delivered substantial value to PT Silika Perkasa Indonesia by improving the accuracy of exploration targeting, enhancing drilling planning efficiency, reducing exploration risks, and supporting decision-making related to the utilization of silica resources. The successful completion of this project further strengthens PT Geo Labora Indonesia’s reputation as a professional provider of comprehensive geophysical and mining exploration services capable of producing scientifically grounded and implementation-ready insights for sustainable mineral development.
